The rainy day

Ok... so now its raining and it is a good time to do maintenance.

So today it will be new plugs (which I bought in 2010) and a K&N air filter (which is a re-usable, lifetime product). I even went thru the trouble of taking the bike's toolkit out of the side compartment and used the tools in there, just to make sure it had what I needed.

Everything went smooth, and the plugs look like they were burning clean, a nice ashen grey.

Sunny, warm and windy

Another nice weekend day to ride with the wife. Very mild and comfortable with occasional wind gusts, but very enjoyable.
Took a ride north oh Amherst and Sunderland (tempted to stop at Bub's BBQ), then back down rte 47.
I feel relaxed and hungry now :)

We even stopped in to see the daughter at college. A very good day indeed.

Hot Leathers

In South Windsor, CT ( www.hotleathers.com ) ... slim pickings this time, but a nice day to ride.
100 miles round trip with the wife, who enjoyed it immensely.

Stafford Springs

A cold ride this morning to Stafford Springs, but worth it. I had to stop in at Chellies (107 West Street ) for some hot chocolate to warm up.

There were a lot of nice bikes, plenty of people and a good all-around showing at the swap meet.
Victory had a booth and you could take a test ride.
People were pulling carts and wagons and buying parts of all types. A very satisfying day.
